About PoolSavr

Built by a pool remodeler, not a marketing company.

PoolSavr comes from fifteen years of measuring, diagnosing, repairing, and remodeling pools — then turning that field math into a homeowner tool.

The story

What shaped the tool.

I started in Tampa at a pool repair company, taking the jobs other guys would not, and calling manufacturers to ask how they wanted things done instead of assuming. That habit stuck: over the years it turned into training through the National Plasterers Council, Pentair, and Hayward, and working relationships with most of the manufacturers in this industry.

South Florida taught me plumbing — my crew ran the pool plumbing for most of the major builders in the area, digging the trenches, setting the equipment, running the lines. That is where I learned hydraulics, and what makes underground systems last.

Two years in Pennsylvania taught me what freeze climates do to pools: openings, closings, and the expansion joints that keep winter from winning.

Then Southern California. I was a lead leak-detection technician across Orange and San Diego County — years of finding exactly where water was escaping, which is an education in how pools actually fail. From there I remodeled landmark commercial pools and high-end estates across San Diego County.

And here is the part that shaped this company: we maintained our own pools after remodeling them, which is rare. Most builders never see their work age; most service techs never see how it was built. Doing both showed me the gap this industry never closes — the people who build pools and the people who maintain them do not learn from each other, and homeowners pay for that gap on both ends.

Why PoolSavr exists

Every honest quote starts with the same number: the real size of the pool. For fifteen years I measured mine with a wheel. Then I taught myself to code, built a satellite measurement system for my own jobs, and spent years verifying it on the ground.

Somewhere in there it stopped being my tool and started being the thing I wished every homeowner had: the size of their pool, the honest math on their project, and a one-contractor path instead of eight strangers racing to their phone.

Give me the pool size, and I'll give you an honest number and a contractor who'll stand behind it. That's the whole company.

One measured project, routed one-to-one where coverage is active.

National averages can’t price your pool. They don’t know its size.

Enter your address and we’ll measure your actual pool from satellite imagery — surface area, perimeter, gallons — and price your project the way a premium contractor would. Free, about two minutes, and the measurement is yours either way.
