After the leak is found
Pool leak repair
Finding the leak is half the job. We also repair it, opening up only what has to be opened, so the fix does not turn into a remodel.
- Fittings and shell cracks
- Underground plumbing
- Many repairs on the same visit
What we repair
Skimmers
Cracked skimmer throats and gaps where the skimmer meets the shell, one of the most common leak points.
Returns, drains and fittings
Leaking return fittings, main drain connections and other penetrations through the shell.
Light niches
Worn conduit seals and cracked niches behind pool and spa lights.
Shell and tile-line cracks
Structural and surface cracks in plaster, tile lines and the bond beam.
Underground plumbing
Cracked or separated lines under the deck, repaired at the leak or rerouted with minimal excavation.
Equipment pad leaks
Pump seals, valves, unions and heater connections.
Repairs that stay small
Because we know exactly where the leak is before we start, repairs are targeted. A fitting leak is fixed at the fitting. An underground leak is reached through a small opening at the spot, not a trench along the whole line.
We carry the materials for common repairs, so many leaks are fixed on the same visit they are found. Larger repairs are scheduled once you have approved the plan. Every job is backed by our promise: satisfaction guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you repair a leak without draining the pool?
- Many repairs, including most fitting and skimmer leaks, can be made underwater with the pool full. Some shell repairs need the water lowered, and we will tell you before we start.
- Do I have to use you for the repair if you found the leak?
- No. You are free to use anyone. We will explain what we found clearly enough that any qualified contractor can act on it.
